Happy Holidays

This year brought big changes for our family: Cass transitioned jobs, we welcomed a new family member, and we moved into a house—all within the span of four months!

Katie

Katie continues to work as Director of Communications at Belong Church. This year has been incredibly busy with parenting, work, and settling into our new home. In between all of that, Katie has found a little time to read, bake cookies, and pursue the occasional arts and crafts project. Website Wishlist

Cassidy

In April, Cassidy began a new chapter in his career as Partner Sucess Engineer at the nonprofit Endless OS Foundation, which develops technology and learning resources designed to bridge the digital divide. Cassidy enjoys playing video games and tinkering with smart home technology in our new house. Website Wishlist

Lucy

Lucy turned three years old on May 21. Her current obsession is The Lion King—specifically the 1994 animated movie; she was not impressed by the remake when Cass put it on for her. Lucy also enjoys helping us in the kitchen, playing outside, making art, and “working” on the computer (typing into a text editor and playing point-and-click video games). Wishlist

Nora

We had the joy of welcoming Nora Rose Kecso Blaede into our family on Mother’s Day, May 8, 2022. She delights us with her giant smiles and giggles. Her favorite things are cords, plastic bags, and other miscellaneous hazards that we frantically snatch out of her grasp. Wishlist
